The Kleanaire prefilters are the spinning impellor type which combine a prescreen, static angled vanes and an impellor which is driven by the intake air itself, to separate contaminants from intake air and thereby prolong filter life, extend intervals between filter cleaning and changing and benefit the engine by permitting cleaner breathing for longer. This type of precleaner is a must in all offroad applications and anywhere where there is dust or contaminants in intake air.
